Purport of Kyoto Design Award 2009
The 1200 year history of Kyoto has fostered a rich and splendid design tradition. The designs created within this tradition inform design innovation in contemporary society, leading to new and novel design ideas and product development. In the Kyoto Design Award, we invite the submission of novel design entries informed by the tradition and culture of Kyoto.
